Cala Tarida
Cala Tarida is a top beach, very family friendly and downright
beautiful! The pictures pretty much speak for themselves but at the same time they
do not do this place enough justice because it truly is a sweet little paradise
hidden in a gorgeous cove in the south of Ibiza. A must see.
Platges De Comte
Another beach, another day. Platges De Comte is just another
beach like any other in Ibiza. Although it is predictably scenic, it is
difficult to truly enjoy the crystal clear water and picturesque cliff-like
mountains in the horizon, mainly because it is packed with tourists. It is hard
not to laugh at the huge, well rounded Spanish guys covered in tattoos holding
coconuts and bags of fruit yelling out at the top of their lungs “Tuti Fruity?
Protein! Protien! Yummy wummy?”
A beautifully charming and overrated beach. We enjoyed ourselves nevertheless.

Cala Frick'n Bassa!
CLEARLY Cala Bassa is beautiful but it comes with the price of a bazillion tourists. If a picture really does have a thousand words, than Joey's face says it all!
Cala Salada
Of course, our first 'beachventure' had to be difficult. After spending our first evening chilling at Port Torrens in front of our hotel we set off the next day to go beach hopping on a rented scooter. We arrived in a breath taking place called Cala Salada which we can only imagine means Salad Beach. As you can see in the picture above, we were standing on a rocky shore overlooking another utopian like apparition of a beach that took us about an hour and a half to finally reach. After trying to get there by bike, by foot, by wit bravery and imagination we finally gave in and asked someone and realised that we had to climb those rocks (on the right) and cascade a cliff in order to get there.
It was worth it.
